We, the crew of it's me, are proud to present you the 100% natural rubber flip flops.

We have ventured across South East Asia in search of traditional natural rubber farms and local manufacturers that have been carrying out the art of processing natural rubber into all kinds of forms for centuries.

In the tropical plantations of Thailand, the raw material used to make our awesome footwear, the sap of the rubber tree, is harvested. The trees are not harmed by the process of harvesting much like when we humans donate blood. Once harvested, the sap is refined into natural rubber and formed to make the structure of our flip flops. During this process the natural rubber is enriched with various natural colouring agents which give our flip flops their punchy and vibrant colours.

Traditional flip flops are produced from PVC and other plastics. In addition to being environmentally unfriendly, these flip flops contain softeners which are used to make these materials flexible. These very softeners can, according to ecological surveys, damage the bladder and liver. So simply put, this is just a lose / lose situation.

We wanted to create a win / win situation. Our natural rubber flip flops promote natural products that provide a healthy clothing accessory and are, at the same time, in harmony with the environment.
